Fresh from 25 years storage, chassis numbers 85114 and 85441 both original RHD making them rather rare as it is understood that only around 500 RHD examples were built.
The black car is complete, basically sound with solid main structure and we have run the engine, the red car is very rough and missing a number of parts. There is a good, complete set of grey leather upholstery (both cars having the same colour leather trim). This model was very advanced for its day being equipped with triple twin choke carburettors, disc brakes all round and a 5 speed gearbox.
With the mechanically identical Pininfarina and Touring bodied models making upto ﾣ50,000, it is only a matter of time before the Bertone Coupes begin to increase. An exciting and potentially very rewarding restoration project which will produce an elegant, fast and rare five seater thoroughbred GT once completed.
NOTE: Restoration has now begun on 85441 which can be purchased at any stage or when fully completed hopefully sometime in 2010.
