Bentley Mk VI with Sports Coupe Body (1950)An outstandingly beautiful Bentley 2-door sports coupe with type C10AM coachwork by James Young. Once owned by the Earl of Gainsborough. A rare and desirable car and a good investmentThe documentation shows that the chassis (B303EW) was supplied to the coachbuilder in 1949 and the body was completed in early 1950 when it was registered. Only 16 Bentleys were fitted with this particular body design with its extra long bonnet and smooth flowing lines. The car is in excellent condition throughout with unblemished coachwork and pleasantly matured leather and woodwork inside. It has only covered 103k miles over the last 60 years and drives beautifully. The engine was rebuilt at 81k miles and the engine bay is one of the smartest we have seen.It has a hardback handbook, a full history file with the original specifications and buff and green registration documents. We have now had this car fitted with radial tyres, serviced and MoT'd. On a recent long run it performed brilliantly.Price - ?34,495 ono << Return to stock list
