Ferrari California?159,995Ferrari launched their new model the California at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. This new two door "2+2" hard top convertible grand touring sports car was aimed to fill a gap in their product range that had existed since the end of 246 Dino production in 1974. The California offers a sensible alternative to a Mercedes SL55 AMG or similar and is Ferraris entry level model. Powered by 4.3 litre V8 producing 450 hp The California has a top speed 193 mph and can accelerate from zero to 62 mph under 4 seconds. The legendary name, "California" harks back to the iconic late-1950s Ferrari 250 GT.Although 180 kilograms heavier and 30 hp less powerful than the mid-engined F430, the California reaches 60 mph in the same time as the F430 thanks to its dual-clutch transmission, a first for Ferrari. Ferrari spent over 1,000 hours in the wind tunnel with a one-third-scale model of the California perfecting its aerodynamics. With the top up, the California has a drag coefficient of 0.32, making it the most aerodynamic Ferrari ever made. This BRAND NEW example was ordered from Maranello in Egham and manufactured in mid 2010. Unfortunately the first owner has been unable to take delivery of the car due to a work related relocation to the middle east. As a result this very high specification example has just delivery mileage on the clock (190 miles). The car is presented in classic Rosso Corsa with Crema and Black carpets.
