This unusual vehicle was built in Ford's export factory, in Canada, and sent out to Australia as a rolling chassis, where it was bodied as a Fire Engine for the Queensland Fire Brigade, and used in a little township called Caboolture until 1940. It was found many years later, in 1996, in a poor condition, and was lovingly restored and used to give children's rides and for advertising.
