Vauxhall Cresta PB, 2.6 litre cylinder engine, three speed gearbox with overdrive (not working), left hand drive. This rare car is believed to have been the on the Vauxhall stand at the 1964 Italian Motorshow. It was painted white as were all show cars. It was bought by an Englishman who brought it back to blighty when he returned home. Apparently his wife did not like being on the 'wrong' side and so the car was left in his carport. On his death it went to the garage that had maintained his other cars but, again, it was left unused. It was eventually acquired by a local gentleman in 2001 who had it restored to its original colour. He had the interior retrimmed in white leather with red piping. The Cresta drives well and has a lovely engine. It has covered about 45,000 miles (the speedo read 62,000kms) There are some minor rust bubbles although the bodywork is very straight especially for a PB. The underside has had minimal attention. The original service book (in Italian) and handbook (in English) are with the car. This rare car has effectively only had two drivers since new
