If you wish to sell a vehicle, and wish to ensure you receive the best possible price, we will find a buyer for you. 42 years service to the Motor Industry following in his father´s footsteps, Ray (Tony) Scatchard MBE who started working within the Motor Industry for Armstrong Siddeley Motors in the late 20´s remaining in the industry until he retired in 1979 having established Charles Sidney as a market leader in the retail motor industry. Malcolm joined his father at Charles Sidney Ltd in 1966 working there for some 32 years, he gained a considerable amount of knowledge on Service & Sales on legendary marques as Aston Martin/Lagonda, Alvis, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Auto-Union/Audi & Mercedes-Benz.

Interests: On leaving he decided to put his extensive experience to good use and formed a consultancy business specializing in vintage and classic cars. Over the past ten years his tasks have been varied, from setting up a used car operation for a well known car retailer in the South West to setting up a museum specializing in veteran & vintage cars and more recently helping set up and establish a company specializing in the re-marketing of historic road and race cars. Early in 2008 he decided it was time to create a Vintage & Classic Car Company of his own and on the 1st August 2008 Malcolm returned to his roots in the old Mill and Market Town of Bingley West Yorkshire and Gasoline Alley Ltd opened its doors.
