Classic Cars for Sale - Buying Tips
- Phone the AA to check if the car has been in any accidents, if the police have had any interest or if there is any finance outstanding.
- Get the chassis number from the seller and the registration number and that is all you need to check with the AA that the used car for sale you are buying is genuine.
- When you arrive to view second hand cars you should make sure that the car has not been previously run. Put your hand on the bonnet to check that it is cool.
- When you view classic cars for sale you can then start the car yourself and check for any nasty plumes of smoke coming from the exhaust.
- Make sure that the registration documents match up with the address of the owners of the second hand cars.
